Scarily good events at Pembrey Country Park

Pembrey Country Park welcomes you to its dark and scary side on Halloween.

Celebrate the spookiest day of the year with a day full of spine tingling activities alongside wizards, witches, ghosts, ghouls, zombie runs and bats on Tuesday, October 31

There will be a witches and wizards trail at 10am for the under 6s. During the two hours you will make wands before embarking on a bug hunt to find some scary bugs and finally stopping off for a story about the spooks of Pembrey.

If you’re brave enough to go on a ghost hunt deep into the woods, build a den, listen to the myths and legends of Pembrey including the “Hatchet Man” and make magic potions in the cauldron of Doom and aged between 7 and 12 then make sure you book the ghosts and ghouls event at 1.30-3.30pm.

Run through the woods and try and stop the zombies from catching you on the Zombie Run at 5-7pm for ages 12 plus. If you survive there will be devils fingers as a reward.

The head witch will give out best dressed prizes at the end of each event at each event.

For families we will be holding a bat and night time walk for 7pm. One of our rangers will be show you the hidden gems of Pembrey but don’t forget you will need to be quiet or you won’t see anything.
