Our Chief Constable, Mark Collins, and Police and Crime Commissioner, Dafydd Llywelyn, have pledged their support for White Ribbon Day.

They signed the White Ribbon Pledge Book to show their commitment to never commit, condone or remain silent about violence against women, in the lead up to the International Day of Violence Against Women on November 25, otherwise known as White Ribbon Day.

The campaign is about men standing up against violence towards women and give Dyfed-Powys Police and its partners opportunity to highlight the work it does to address domestic abuse, including supporting victims of abuse through the commissioned victim and witness service Goleudy.

Support is available by calling 0300 1232996 or emailing goleudy@dyfed-powys.pnn.police.uk.
The pledge book took a tour around Headquarters for male officers and staff to sign and will be at the Carmarthen Journal offices for the remainder of the week. Any man who wishes to sign the book to pledge their support is welcome to call in at their King Street office in Carmarthen.
