A roads policing officer responded to an unusual call last night. It started out as dealing with an escaped horse and resulted in the arrest of a man wanted by Police Scotland.
The incident occurred on the B4317 in Pinged, Carmarthenshire, on the junction with the B4308 at approximately 9pm on Tuesday, November 14.
The horse collided with a Toyota Yaris. It was examined at the scene and was not injured.
The male driver of the vehicle had two outstanding warrants for his arrest and was arrested on behalf of Police Scotland.
He remains in police custody.
